This drum was specially developed to satisfy the requirements of the food industry. Manufactured from cold laminated steel, this drum acquires its conical shape through expansion. This greatly improves the drum’s mechanical characteristics.

Due to its structure and dimensions, the conical drum allows exceptional efficiency during transportation and storage. It is possible to transport up to 1632 empty drums in a 40-foot container. Once filled, the drums can be stacked up to four drums high.

Other advantages of the conical design:

• The bottom of the drum has ribs stamped into the surface which grants the container increased resistance. The perforations allow the air to evacuate during the filling processes.
• The bottom of the drum is united to the body of the drum through a system of plane covers containing five layers, with a special material to seal the interior by high temperature.
• Exterior anti-corrosive film of paint specially approved and recommended for the food industry.
• Non-toxic polish added to paint, specially recommended for the tomato paste packaged in aseptic bags.
• Galvanized metallic lid and zinc ring with adjustable lever and security seal improve their quality.
